As I have been saying, 12 years in the making, 1 night of celebration at The Bookhouse in Winston-Salem last week. For those who could not make the event, I recorded my comments and pushed those out on Light Over Heat this week. Next week I will run a second video that shows the excellent Q&A.
Turnout was better than I could have hoped, over twice as many people as I was expecting. I got to share a moment with so many people who have supported me over the years and meet others who I didn’t know but who were gun curious enough to check out the event.
See below for a couple more face-to-face events coming up in June!
A couple of other upcoming face-to-face events if you’re interested. On Thursday, June 13th at 6:00 pm, I will be at the Davie County Public Library in Mocksville. Public libraries are “palaces of the people” and I’m excited to have the opportunity to talk about my story and the broader issue of guns in a town/county that played a huge role in my becoming a gun owner. More information here.

Two days later, on June 15th at 3:00 pm, I will be heading to the mountains of NC, to City Lights bookstore in beautiful Sylva, NC. Would love to see anyone from Western NC there. More information here.

Please share this information if you know of anyone local to these events who may be interested. Thank you!
