2024 Top Ten Most Viewed Videos on Light Over Heat YouTube Channel

2024 was my third full year of posting videos to my YouTube channel, “Light Oer Heat with Professor David Yamane.”

I still don’t feel as comfortable on camera as I do behind a keyboard, but I set aside that discomfort to try to achieve the goal stated in the channel’s title. I will leave it to others to determine whether I actually achieve that goal.

Though the view counts on most of these videos are modest, I am proud of the quality of the material I am producing for the small niche I have carved out in America’s great and terrible gun debate.

Here are the 10 most viewed full-length videos I posted in 2024. (I am excluding shorts, which almost always have more views.)

NOTE ON SUPPORT

Putting out materials like this is part of my mission to educate people and enrich conversations about guns. I have never pay-walled my work, so it is free to you. But the work is not free to me. If you would like to support my efforts, please consider the following:

  • Please like and share my blog posts and videos. This helps others see this work which is my main goal.
  • Subscribe to my YouTube channel. Publishers and media outlets look at how many subscribers I have to assess my “platform” when considering my work.

  • Make a direct financial contribution to help offset my costs through Buy Me A Coffee or PayPal Donate.
