As announced on this channel last week, my book Gun Curious now has a publisher, the Exposit Books imprint of McFarland & Co. Publishers. I am finishing the manuscript as you read this and hopefully the book will be available for pre-order in Spring 2024 and for delivery in early summer.

This has been a long and arduous, exciting and demoralizing process, including working on a book from 2012 to 2018 then starting over on a different version of that book in 2018 leading up to shopping the book around in 2022-2023 and getting over 30 rejections.

In this week’s video, I take you behind the scenes to see how each of the major steps in getting to this point unfolded.

As noted in last week’s video also, after I complete the book manuscript I am going to cut back on my writing in favor of working on building a solid platform from which to launch this book next year. I’m hoping I can count on those readers who have supported me throughout this process and also bring new potential readers on board, whether gun enthusiasts, gun skeptics, or gun curious.
