WHY AM I DOING THIS? With (a) shadow and actual banning of gun-related accounts on social media platforms, (b) not knowing how long Gun Culture 2.0 blog will live, and (c) preparing for the publication of my book Gun Curious in June, I am trying to build a robust e-mail list so that I can communicate with people interested in my work directly in the future.

My publicist (me) is learning how this technology works, so if you sign up and do not receive an email with a link to download the e-book, please let me know so I can fix the problem ASAP!

    Filling in my email address within your email and then clicking on “Send me the free e-book” gave no acknowledgement, and I did not get any confirming email within the next several minutes. Opening the email in your blog and doing the same worked: immediate “Success you’re on the list” and confirming email within a minute.

    • Rick – Thanks for this heads up. We never did test this for blog-embedded-in-email scenario, but glad you were able to get it working from within the blog. That wasn’t even a certainty when I took a chance and sent this out today!
